We mentor boys in middle school and high school in the Columbia, SC area. We aim to reduce the local high school dropout rate for boys, as more than 3,000 dropped out of high school during the 2018-2019 school year (SC Department of Education, 2021). Boys represented 62% of the more than 4,800 students who dropped out of high school. Seeds of Wisdom is working to solve this problem.

Our mentors use their life experiences and promote the importance of integrity, discipline, education, and ambition (IDEA) to support mentees as they navigate life. Seeds of Wisdom empowers boys to develop into young men who create a better tomorrow.
